This display is in the hallway outside of Kate's classrooms. It shows all the Flat Stanley's in the 2nd grade and where they have been. Lizzie and Sabrina had a lot of fun looking at all the different pictures.

Here's Kate's Stanley on the wall (Ha Ha ... he's also on The Wall)
The reason we were by Kate's class today is that it was the exhibition of their animal reports and habitat dioramas. That's what we did during her Spring Break. It was lots of fun to see all the animals the kids did their reports on and the various habitats made of everything imaginable.

Each child made a clay animal as an art project and painted them. This is Kate's cheetah habitat.
What a cutie :) She got full marks on both projects. Actually -- funny story -- she was looking at her grading sheet from her report and was concerned so she brought it to me. She said it didn't make sense and that the addition was wrong. The sheet showed 5 or 6 grading criteria and the points available for each and at the bottom the total out of 40. Sure enough, the individual points add up to 50, not 40! So Kate got to show her teacher the next day and she changed it in the grading book to 50. (Simple mistake, but I was impressed that Kate caught it!)
