Pre-party visit with some long-time family friends Eric and Sheri.
I love the way the older kids did a good job helping the youngest ones. The teenagers set up the candy search, then mostly just watched and helped a bit.
Sorting the candy out is busy work! Not bad practice of division either. The plastic eggs are filled with homemade marshmallow eggs dipped in chocolate, made by Grandma. They were amazing! Meanwhile some of the teenagers were sitting on the couch nearby. The kids kept trying to share with the older ones. They'd graciously accept the candy, then when backs were turned they tossed them secretly back in their baskets.
Yes, this is pretty much how we all feel after a good, thorough chocolate crash ;)
